Trade Safety Coordinator (TSO) Training Course - Cost $695.00

The first level provides the participant with the knowledge and ability to perform the duties of a trade safety coordinator/Employer Safety Coordinator.
Learning Objectives:

Understand the laws that govern the workplace;
Explain the safety duties and responsibilities of a various personnel on a multi-employer worksite;
Demonstrate an understanding of the components of a site safety plan;
Understand the authority of WorkSafeBC and other governing bodies that may play a role on a multi-employer site;
Explain the defense of Due Diligence;
Describe the components of a Health and Safety Program;
Explain the requirements of worker training and participations;
Describe how to conduct worksite inspections;
Explain the purpose and process of Accident Investigations and injury reporting.
